About Research
Troy Internal Medicine Research is an independent clinical trials center located in suburban Troy, Michigan. The primary focus of Troy Internal Medicine Research is Phase 2 A & B, Phase 3 A & B and Phase 4 clinical trials for pharmaceuticals.
Our chief areas of expertise are: Type ll Diabetes, vaccines, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, osteoarthritis, weight loss, osteoporosis, erectile dysfunction, cancer prevention and metabolic syndrome.
Our staff is also experienced with trials for anti-infectives for bronchitis, sinusitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and trials for migraine headache, anxiety and GERDS.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality, efficiency and professionalism in the conduct of clinical research, with special emphasis on compassionate care of human subjects.
Recruitment & Enrollment
Troy Internal Medicine Research maintains a large active database of subjects who are interested in volunteering for clinical trials, or who have been compliant participants in the past.
The database is further enhanced by referrals from physician sub-investigators who actively participate in screening subjects for clinical trials based on protocol specific inclusion/exclusion criteria.
Meeting our enrollment goals and successful completion of trials are key features of Troy Internal Medicine Research. Over-enrollment is not unusual.
Facility
Troy Internal Medicine Research is comprised of a dedicated 1800 sq. ft. clinical trials unit with 3 exam rooms, on-site specimen processing lab, biological sample refrigerators/freezers, state of the art computer network, RDE access, adequate and secured record and drug storage.
Central IRB / Central Lab
Troy Internal Medicine Research is able to work with any central IRB and or central lab upon sponsor request.
Staff
Troy Internal Medicine Research is under the direction of Neil Fraser, M.D., F.A.C.P. Dr. Fraser’s primary board certification is in Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and has been conducting clinical trials since 1996. Additionally, 14 board certified primary care physicians and 2 physician assistants collaborate with Dr. Fraser as sub-investigators.
Monitoring
Troy Internal Medicine Research is easily accessible to Detroit Metro Airport, which is 45 minutes away from the site. A comfortable, spacious conference room equipped with phone and copier/fax access makes monitoring a pleasure at Troy Internal Medicine Research.
